R&I Headliner Subaru Legacy - Getting Ready for PDR

This video showcases what we go through to get a car ready for paintless dent repair.  Many people don't realize that we must take the car completely apart to get to the bottom of the dents in a process called R&I.  We specialize in Hail Repair and have to do this every single time that we repair a hail car.

The process takes anywhere from 30 minutes to many hours to accomplish.  If you would like to see more, stay tuned as we will be releasing more and more videos like this.

Removing Doors For Paintless Dent Repair Job

So it took 2 weeks to finish a car that should have only taken 2 days.  The reason?  Bad PDR repair the first time the car had hail.  The previous repair company did an awful job that we had to completely re-do.

We had to remove doors and do the repair on a stand.  Paintless dent repair is hard enough and then you add the a hastle of fixing other people's mistakes and a job becomes a nightmare.

Much of this cars previous dent repair actually rusted on every single cracked paint location.
This is very bad for the cars worth and we could not allow for this car to leave our shop like this.  We used part of our earnings to actually fully paint the car, at no expense to the customers.

If you have had problem with previous hail repairs.  Come bring it to us and see if we can't help you out.

before during and after paintless dent repair

This repair was done in about 2 hours and it shows Tim removing a dent from a car.  This paintless dent repair job is shown at 20x the speed so don't think this was done in seconds.  Paintless dent repair requires the technician to get to the bottom of the dent.  Access needs to be gained, and for this particular dent Tim was able to get into the dent by coming from inside the fender area through the hood.  Sometimes the dent location is not so easy to reach and requires some R&I.
